One of the many fine FP bloggers has started a new Youtube series called Science Stuff, which will be looking into the physics of fountain pen colours and inks. You can find the first episode here.
As you may have all noticed, I'm a social scientist and not a physical scientist, but I've really enjoyed this video. Andi's done a great job: the video is interesting and well presented, and it's made me enthusiastic about seeing and learning more about how this stuff works.
I'm also excited to see another blogger start to blend their academic/professional expertise with their FP passion. There are so many pen review blogs out there which focus purely on pens and inks, it's really wonderful to see some unique content emerging. There are a few others I can recommend, such as Crónicas Estilográficas, which is a great resource for anyone interested in the history of pens, and Pens and Planes (you can probably guess what that's about).
If you happen to know of any similar blogs, please do let me know - I'd love to add another to my feed!
